Ms. Jackson & Ms. Dee
Ms. Jackson

Ms. Jackson is dedicated and enthusiastic 3rd grade teacher at MIMS. With four years of experience at our school, she has made a significant impact on the lives of her students. She brings 23 years of experience in elementary education to her role as a 3rd grade teacher. Ms. Jackson is a proud graduate of Dulles High School in Sugarland, Tx. She furthered her education at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of effective teaching strategies. In addition to her dedication to her students, Ms. Jackson is a loving sister and mother. She is one of three siblings and has two brothers who have always supported her in her career. She is also a proud mother to Harper, who is currently a 5th grader. When Ms. Jackson is not teaching students in the classroom, she enjoys some of her hobbies. She loves movies and can often be found at the theater, enjoying the latest releases. Scrapbooking is another creative outlet that Ms. Jackson finds joy in, as it allows her to preserve precious memories. Cooking is not only a hobby for Ms. Jackson but also a way to bond with her daughter, Harper. They love watching cooking and baking shows together, exploring new recipes, and creating delicious meals. She is also a dedicated sports fan, supporting the Texans and Rockets. Football and basketball games are a favorite pastime for her. Ms Jackson lives by the motto, "Life's a journey. Enjoy it." This philosophy guides her approach to teaching and life in general. She believes in making the most of every moment and encourages her students to embrace new experiences and find joy in their learning journey. We are incredibly fortunate to have Ms. Jackson as part of our MIMS family. Her passion and commitment to her students make her an exceptional educator and role model.

Ms. Dee

Ms. Dee is a dedicated and passionate teacher who has been shaping young minds for the past 12 years. For the past 5 years, she has been an invaluable member of the MIMS family, bringing her unique perspective and love for learning to the third-grade classroom. Born and primarily raised in Texas, Ms. Dee had the privilege of living in Italy for several years during her elementary school days. This experience exposed her to different cultures and ignited her curiosity about the world. As a young woman, she explored various career paths, but it was her desire to constantly learn and connect with people that led her to become a teacher. Teaching not only allows Ms. Dee to impart knowledge to her students but also fulfills her own desire to continue learning and growing. She believes that each person and place is beautifully unique, and she strives to instill this appreciation for diversity in her students. In addition to her dedication to teaching, Ms. Dee shares her life and love with Roel Barron. Together, they have overcome great challenges following an accident in which Roel almost lost his life. This experience has taught them the value of resilience and cherishing every moment. Ms. Dee is a proud mother of three grown children and a grandmother to a beautiful granddaughter. Roel also has a grown son, and their blended family brings them immense joy and pride. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Dee's passion lies in painting. She constantly strives to improve her skills and finds solace and inspiration in the world of art. Her love for painting is a testament to her creative spirit and her desire to express herself through different mediums. Ms. Dee's dedication to her students, her love for her family, and her passion for painting make her an exceptional teacher and an inspiring individual.
