2026-2027 SCHOOL SUPPLIES 

 

Here is the link to EPI school supplies. By clicking the link, you can view the supply list for each grade level. All elementary students (PK-5) will have to purchase both their grade level school supply pack and the required art supply pack. EPI supplies will be delivered directly to school and the student’s teachers.

DRESS CODE (UNIFORMS)

** Updates for 2025-2026:

All students will be required to wear uniform-type bottoms or plain jeans in khaki, navy, or black. No athletic/basketball shorts/joggers. No leggings unless under skirts/dresses. 

 

Hooded sweatshirts (hoodies) will no longer be permitted.

School hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Learn more about our morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures, MIMS events, and more! 2026-2027 Welcome Packet will be passed out at orientation.

 

IMPORTANT DATES

Summer Events

MIMS PTO will be hosting summer playdates for new and returning families. Subscribe to the calendar for more future events. 

 

August 5: 10 am - 12 pm - Pre-K/K Orientation! (Parents only)

PK and Kinder: Please arrive promptly at 10 am. You will hear from your child's teachers on everything you need to know to help your child have a successful first day of school. 

 

August 5: 2 pm - 4 pm - Middle School (6th-8th grade) - Meet the Teacher
Middle School students: Please stop by the cafeteria to pick up your schedules and ID badges.

 

August 6: 2 pm - 4 pm - PK-5th Grade - Meet the Teacher! 

PK - 5th grade: This is a come and go event so drop by anytime between 2-4 pm. Parents and students are welcome to visit MIMS to find out classroom assignments (posted in the cafeteria), meet their teacher(s), and visit classrooms.

 

 

We look forward to seeing you all there and to kicking off a great year together! We are excited about the wonderful things we will achieve together this year! 

 

August 8: 9 am - 11 am: All grades 
Come join us at MIMS Spark Park 1 and 2! Families and siblings invited.

 

August 10: First Day of School & Boohoo/Woohoo!

Welcome back! Some will cry, boohoo… Others will cheer, woohoo! Whatever your mood, MIMS PTO is here for you! Parents, stop by for some coffee at Spark Park after you drop off your student on the first day of school and then join us for breakfast at 9 am. (Place TBA) This is a great way to meet new parents, ask questions, or just socialize. We hope to see you there!

 

TBA: Open House - Elementary Open House (PK-5th grade)

• 4:30 PM – Welcome Back Presentation with Principal Tiet (MIMS Gym)

• 5:00–5:45 PM – Session 1

• 5:45–6:30 PM – Session 2

To support families with multiple children, we are offering two identical classroom sessions. Parents will have the opportunity to visit their child’s classroom during either session. Teachers will share the same information in both sessions.
