MIMS GALA

CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF MANDARIN IMMERSION MAGNET SCHOOL 休斯顿中文沉浸学校

The MIMS PTO is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and teachers. Every dollar raised goes directly back into our school community—supporting teachers and classrooms, enriching student experiences, and helping provide the programs, resources, and improvements that make MIMS unique.

This year, we are seeking sponsors to help support the PTO, allowing us to direct more fundraising dollars toward the programs and initiatives that directly benefit our students and staff. From teacher support and classroom resources, such as chromebooks, to school events, field trips, and campus improvements, your sponsorship helps us continue saying “yes” to the needs of our MIMS community.

Your support truly makes an impact. Many of the improvements and opportunities our students enjoy would not be possible without the generosity of our families, businesses, and community partners. By sponsoring the MIMS PTO, you are investing directly in our students, teachers, and the future of our school. For more information, contact info@mimspto.org.

BECOME A 2026-2027 SPONSOR

MIMS is Houston Independent School District’s (HISD) only public Pre-K through 8th grade Mandarin language immersion school. Our mission is to develop students to become bilingual global minded leaders who will thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. MIMS is consistently earning recognition as one of the top-performing public schools in Texas. MIMS was recognized as the #1 Middle School in HISD and #10 Middle School in Texas by Children at Risk (2022), the #1 Houston Area Elementary School by Children at Risk (2024-2025), and earned an A rating from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) from 2022-2026.

While HISD provides the foundation for our educational program, the generosity of community partners and family sponsors makes it possible to offer opportunities beyond what district funding can provide. As school budgets continue to face increasing challenges, sponsorships directly support classroom resources, educational technology, language-learning programs, cultural celebrations, campus improvement projects, teacher appreciation initiatives, and enrichment opportunities that benefit every student. We invite you to partner with us in investing in the future of our students. Every contribution makes a meaningful and lasting impact on the students, teachers, and families of Mandarin Immersion Magnet School. Thank you for your support!
